The program is strictly in line with Yoga Alliance Standards and offers a deep understanding of spiritual and traditional yogic philosophy and values. Course offers principles of teaching methodology, which covers principles of instruction, demonstration, teaching styles and qualities of a Yoga teacher. Different asanas, kriyas, pranayamas, meditation, chanting and other traditional yoga techniques are included into this analytical and practical training experience. Profound insights to the physical anatomy (body systems, organs, etc.) and also physiology (chakras, nadis, etc.) are all touched upon in the training.


Course will offer integral approach for physical, emotional and spiritual balance, helps to gain required confidence and creates the foundation for being a yoga teacher in today’s world. Yoga Theraphy:

Yoga has been applied with therapeutic intention for thousands of years and is now fast emerging as a discipline in itself. Yoga therapy sessions, taught by Guru Mahi, are derived from his 27 years of experience in the tradition of BKS Iyengar- using correct alignment and props to assist individuals facing health challenges of all kinds.  Students will learn how to assess and assist their own students and aim to bring balance to their body, increasing wellbeing and vitality.


Hatha Yoga:

Hatha Yoga is the original form of yoga from where all other styles have developed. The purpose of Hatha Yoga is to keep the yogi aspirant, healthy and free from disease in order to facilitate purification of the mind. This deep practice develops a very subtle awareness within the body that begins the process of cultivating the meditative state of awareness. Here we cover the traditional asana sequence, pranayama, meditation, cleansing processes and philosophies of Hatha Yoga Pradeepika.


Vinyasa Yoga:

Vinyasa yoga has become one of the most popular styles of yoga in the modern world. Students will learn the various ways of sequencing classes, incorporating stretching and strengthening asanas while placing emphasis on flowing between poses with awareness. The breath is used as an anchor to the movement, which builds heat, assists detoxification, and creates a rhythm and flow to the practice.


Ashtanga Yoga:

Ashtanga yoga literally means “eight-limbed yoga” as outlined by the sage Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. Ashtanga Yoga is in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. The asanas are practiced systematically and provide a harmonious flow of energy. Systematic learning steps help you get a deeper understanding of this powerful and dynamic yoga practice supported by your breath.

RYT 200 hour yoga teacher training allows you to get:


  • A profound understanding of various yoga asanas and meditation

The RYT 200 course as described by The Yoga Alliance empowers students to get the basic understanding of yoga asanas coupled with guidance for yoga teacher training, enabling them to pass on this knowledge to their students in the right fashion. The course helps you go beyond the theory and the asanas to understand the realm of yoga, which in its true meaning aims to unify the mind and the body.


Teaching environment is completely interactive. In practical sessions teachers pay attention to every student and ensure that the asanas are being done in the right posture, style and spirit. There are theoretical sessions too, in which the teachers explain the fundamentals of human body and how each asana makes a difference to our body. Special sessions are helped by Guru Mahi, in which he talks about the origin of various asanas.


On completion of your RYT200 course, you will awarded a certificate of completion of the course. You can now apply for Yoga Alliance certification and significantly improve your chances to work as a Yoga Teacher.
